Brian has been passionate about helping others as well as the financial planning industry since he was young. When his father (Rich) became the owner of Ames Financial Services in 2008, Brian started working in the office on a part time basis while he was in high school. He held various roles and started to learn about the financial planning industry. He enjoyed working with the clients as well as learning about the business so he decided to attend the University of Tampa in the fall of 2013 to major in Finance. In the spring of 2017, he graduated from the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and he accepted a role at an advising firm in Tampa, Fl.
After obtaining his FINRA Series 6, 63, life and health insurance licenses, he accepted a position at Prudential. Brian spent over two years at Prudential familiarizing himself with holistic financial planning. In his time at Prudential, he was exposed to a variety of different situations that allowed him to gain significant knowledge in all aspects of the financial planning process. In the spring of 2020 Brian moved back to MA and joined his family’s practice at Ames Financial Services. Since being back home and working at Ames Financial Brian has continued his education and professional expansion to obtain his series 7 and 65 licenses to provide even greater service to our clients. Brian is excited in joining the family business and is looking forward in working with a great group of clients and assisting them with their financial goals.
Brian is continuing to further his education in the field of financial advising. Brian currently resides in Franklin, MA with his dog (Brady). He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, time on the beach, as well as basketball and softball.
